Turmeric Latté


Ingredients:

1 heaped tablespoon fresh grated turmeric (or 2tsp of turmeric paste)

1 tablespoon fresh grated ginger

1 tsp cinnamon

1 tablespoon coconut oil

1 pinch black pepper

Pinch of chilli or cayenne pepper (optional)

Raw honey to taste

1 cup heated unsweetened almond or coconut milk

Method: 1. In a small pot, heat milk on a low simmer on the stove.

2. Add ingredients after milk has warmed.

3. Stir gently and serve.

Note: You can also use dry ingredients instead of fresh to make a batch for an instant turmeric latte later. Handy for when you're on the run!
