'Wonder Woman' | "Visually stunning & action-packed!"
After 20 years of development, 'Wonder Woman' has finally made it to the big screen. But how does it it compare to the recent DC Extended Universe films?
Before she became Wonder Woman, she was Diana - Princess of the Amazons, and trained as an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, Diana (Gal Gadot) meets an American pilot (Chris Pine) who informs her of the massive conflict that's raging in the outside world.
Convinced that she can stop the threat, Diana leaves her home for the first time. Fighting alongside men in the war to end all wars, she finally discovers her full powers and true destiny.
Gadot puts the wonder in Wonder Woman in a role brilliantly scripted for her acting talent. She brings not only beauty, to the screen, but charm and enthusiasm to the role. The supporting cast is perfectly cast as well, with Pine's contribution nothing less than superb.
Director Patty Jenkins ('Monster') delivers a well adapted superhero film, and one of the best in the last few years. 'Wonder Woman' is thrilling, action-packed and entertaining to say the least.
Though the editing, visual effects and music are flawless, the only negative is the seemingly unnecessary slow motion of the action scenes.
This is unquestionably the best film release from DC Extended Universe. It is an enjoyable watch from beginning to end; a great popcorn movie!
A visually stunning, action-packed adventure film for moviegoers and comic book fans alike.
