Lego’s BrickHeadz are buildable Lego sets that give you an end product much akin to the beloved Pop! Vinyl figures.
It’s official: Lego ‘Pop Vinyls’ now exist. Need we say anymore? Lego have just released information about the first series on Facebook; it is set to consist of eight iconic superheroes: four from Marvel and four from DC. From Marvel, we have the two leading men Captain America and Iron Man, along with Black Widow and Hulk.
Then there is Batman, Robin, Joker and Batgirl – the first four DC figures to be released. Lego bloggers and reviewers have been writing about this product for a few weeks now. With a release date of March 1st, many die hard Lego fans are excited to take a peep in these boxes. The images online look amazing, but will the finished product live up to all the hype? With a purely superhero release in the first series, there may be potential buyers who are left uninterested. Why not also release a Disney Princesses set? Or a collection of characters from a cult children’s classic?
In saying that however, if you head over to the official Lego store website, there seems to be two more characters that have yet to be promoted on Lego’s official Facebook page. They are in fact Disney products, and with ‘Beauty and the Beast’ also released in March, there’s no surprise that the first two Disney Brickheadz are Belle and the Beast.
What’s not to love about these amazing Lego sets?
Cost-wise, they’re not too expensive either! The Lego Brickheadz are set at a reasonable $15.99 AUD (£9.99) per box.
For now, we’ve not been told when customers can buy these sets in-store, but come March 1st they will be available to purchase from the Lego Store website.
