FUNKO DOES HORROR | 'It' Pop! Vinyls
In 1990 we were introduced to a master of terror - a king of all that is evil... Pennywise the clown.
Tim Curry put on one of the best performances ever captured on film with his portrayal of the sewer dwelling, child killing clown. It is one that still terrifies audiences today. That was twenty-seven years ago!
In September of this year, Bill Istvan Günther Skarsgård will don the infamous makeup and step into the oversized shoes to take over the haunting role. It's a huge responsibility, stepping in as a beloved character, but based on the trailers and television spots shown recently, there's a good chance that he'll do it justice.
To mark this historic remake, Funko has released four versions of the killer clown: a regular, a chase, a Hot Topic exclusive, and a Walmart exclusive. Each figure is equally as terrifying as the last, with the waving, wafting hair of the Walmart exclusive being our personal favourite.
The figures are due to hit stores at the end of August, and we can only hope that more characters are released soon.
