LA trio HAIM single 'Little of Your Love' is here!

HAIM has gifted fans with a brand new single this month, and we couldn't be happier! Sisters Danielle, Este and Alana have been busy in 2017 with their second studio album 'Something to Tell You', and preparing for the October release of its second single 'Little of Your Love'.

We've been playing 'Something to Tell You' on repeat since its July release, and we can confirm, 'Little of Your Love' is a track with proven longevity. Think Stevie Nicks meets Shania Twain, with an oddly satisfying nineties-style pop melody that leaves its listener no choice but to sing along to the upbeat chorus, and bop along in time.

'Little of Your Love' is a well-composed pop offering that blends genres and instrumentation seamlessly - complementary to the rest of the album, consistent in its musical quality and unique sound.

And then there's the video. HAIM videos are arty. They're contemporary. They're chic, and they're styled. The Haim sisters are naturals in every sense of the word, and this flows through the camera lens with ease. There is nothing pretentious about the sisters' look, their style or their sound.

Directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, the video sees the girls dancing through what appears to be a pub hoedown. It's fun, it's flirty in the most carefree and innocent sense, and yes, a traditional Haim dance sequence we've all come to love and expect makes its welcome appearance throughout.

Haim is no stranger to quality video direction. Their previous single 'Want You Back' (named ‘Best New Track’ by Pitchfork) was accompanied by a one-shot music video, filmed on an unusually isolated Ventura Boulevard in Los Angeles. The girls' unusual mix of partly-mimed lyrics, air instrumentation, and dance sequence finale leaves immediately fans hitting 'replay'.

‘Something to Tell You’ peaked at #2 on the UK Albums chart, and #4 on the ARIA charts. Let's see where the release of 'Little of Your Love' pushes the album to next.
