FUNKO at SDCC 2017 | 'Thor: Ragnarok' set
Funko has released a plethora of images of figures coming to the 2017 SDCC. Though this is very exciting, some of the regular sets have gone somewhat unnoticed, including the incredible set based on upcoming film 'Thor: Ragnarok'.
The plot of the film sees Thor held captive on the planet Sakaar without his hammer. He must win a gladiatorial duel against The Hulk in order to return to Asgard.
This new adventure brings a host of new characters, all of which have had the Funko treatment. It's also a rather large set. Six are regular releases and five are exclusives which are only available at Walmart, Hot Topic, and Toys R Us.
As exciting as the set looks, the stand out character has to be The Hulk. The detail in the armour, the war paint on his face and body and the sheer size of it (especially given it's a regular release and not a 6-inch version) makes this a phenomenal piece.
Funko is constantly upping their game, and this vinyl figure is a good indication that they are far from done with exceeding expectations.
Expect to see the figures released in July and the film to follow in October.
